Cheryl is a cosmotologist with a love of all things vintage. She first discovered early rock-and-roll at age 8 after inheriting from her mother a small box of 45s that included Jerry Lee Lewis doing ‘Great Balls of Fire.’ Says Cheryl, “I was hooked.” It only seems apt that she lives in a lakefront house in Jersey built in 1942, with an addition put on in the early ’50s. “Everything that was not original is painstakinlgy being done period-perfect, right down to the switchplates,” she says, proudly. It should come as no surprise that Cheryl is happiest when jitterbugging on the dance floor. We’re sure a few fellas at RetroRadar would love to swing with her.
